ValhallaFest is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive community event. In order to do so, we ask that all participants understand and agree to this Code of Conduct in relation to all activities regarding the festival.
The following actions will result in a warning and/or immediate ejection from the festival:
Please contact security or a volunteer if you believe you've observed or experienced a violation of this Code of Conduct, and ValhallaFest will work to assess the situation and to respond as soon as possible. Please remember that notifying ValhallaFest does not constitute or replace a notification to local law enforcement.
Any participant who violates this Code of Conduct may be immediately removed from the festival grounds and have their Festival Wristband and parking/camping privileges revoked, without refund. Law enforcement may be notified.
Please refrain from bringing any glass containers, as they pose a risk of shattering.
This includes aerial flares, rockets, and fireworks.
We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing generators unless absolutely necessary. If you require one, please contact us prior to the event.
Knives (including Swiss army knives/Leatherman tools with blades), machetes, swords, 'above average' cooking knives (greater than 6 inches), axes (yes, even hatchets), baseball bats, BB guns, air rifles, paintball guns, and basically anything that makes you look like you're gearing up for a zombie apocalypse.
Hand-held lasers are strictly prohibited. Stationary lasers must be registered with ValhallaFest prior to the event.
Ceremonial headdresses of this nature are not permitted on site.
Loose feathers, disposable plastic bags, paper, string, AstroTurf, Styrofoam coolers, hay bales, single-use straws, propane fire pits.

No, tickets are only sold for the entire weekend.
No. Tickit is our only official ticket provider. Every ticket is linked to the purchaser's account, so the only way to safely buy a second-hand ticket is through a transfer initiated within the Tickit platform. We cannot guarantee entry for tickets purchased anywhere else.
Your tickets are located on your private download page, which you can access by clicking the link in your purchase confirmation email.
If you can't find your email, enter the address you used to purchase your tickets on the Tickit support page. They will send you a list of all matching orders from the past year.

The closest airport is Northwest Regional Airport Terrace-Kitimat (YXT), located about 15 minutes from the festival grounds.
We recommend booking as early as possible, as flights into Terrace (YXT) fill up quickly. For accommodations, we have a special partnership with the Sandman Hotel Terrace. If you call the hotel directly and mention ValhallaFest, you might even receive a discount on your ticket! You can also check current rates at other local options like the Days Inn or Best Western to compare prices. If you are flying, monitor Air Canada and WestJet for the best seasonal rates.
You are welcome to bring a bike to get around the main vehicle roads, but please be aware of the terrain.
The main event runs from Friday at noon until Sunday at 8:00 PM. If you want to get settled early, the gates open for early access on Thursday at 4:00 PM.
Yes. Early Access passes are available for $60. This allows you to enter starting Thursday, June 25, at 4:00 PM so you can secure your spot before the Friday crowds.

Yes, camping is included with every admission ticket for the festival weekend.
Tent camping is available throughout the site. RV camping is in designated areas.
There are designated camping areas marked on the map. Please note there is no electricity or RV hookups available in the camping areas.
There is no electricity or RV hookups at the campsites. Water is available at the Gate House and at each stage. Metal fire pits are available at certain campsites, and their use is dependent on current fire risk status.
No, camping spots are first-come, first-served. Saving spots is not allowed.
There is ample camping available to spread out. Show up early if you are concerned about getting a good spot.
Glamping includes a pre-set canvas bell tent with bedding, a vehicle pass, early access, and a Sunday afterparty invite. A $300 damage deposit is required and will be refunded by July 31, 2026.
ValhallaFest does not observe quiet hours. Noise levels increase near Asgard at night, and near Leif's Beach and AgeHa during the day. Family camping is located near the Gate House entrance. Please note that renegade stages and unregistered generators are strictly prohibited.
Porto-potties are provided for campers. Flush toilets and showers are available for volunteers.
We do not provide camping gear rentals outside of our Glamping tickets, please ensure you bring your own.
Campfires are only allowed in designated fire pits. Restrictions follow the local jurisdiction. Check here for fire bans and restrictions in place. A shovel and water for fire safety must be kept at each fire pit while active. Fires must be attended while lit. Unattended fires will be extinguished by staff and deactivated for the rest of the event. Fires started against regulation or outside of designated pits may result in being banned from future events.
Generators are typically prohibited. Should you need one for a critical reason, please Contact Us. Only silent, inverter generators are allowed. Fuel must be kept in an external container to prevent spills, and a fire extinguisher must be readily available.
Yes, one pass is required per vehicle.
Passes cover Friday to Sunday. All passengers still need their own admission tickets, and all vehicles will be searched for banned items.
There are food vendors on site near the marketplace. As they are not open at all hours, please bring your own food and water as a backup.
Yes, and we recommend it. Food vendors are on site and open at certain hours as well. Alcoholic beverages are permitted in your campsite and must be in a cup. Please note that we do not serve alcohol.

Pets are not allowed at ValhallaFest due to safety, hygiene, and crowd management concerns. It is also an extremely loud environment for animals.
We have a professional security team, 24-hour first aid, a refuge for people experiencing anxiety, and free water available on site. Northern Health's Northwest Specialized Services team will also be on site to ensure festival participants have access to free substance testing, harm reduction supplies, and related services and information.
For accessibility, we offer a wheelchair accessible bathroom near First Aid in the marketplace, and there is a designated accessible campsite across from Jötunn's Shadow.
